After a week of studying, Beau and I are hitting the road for "home" this afternoon. We're heading to ma's and super-step dad's for the weekend. Tonight, I have plans with some old friends that have returned to the Carolinas after a hiatus up in New England. Then tomorrow night, I'm taking the super-step dad to see The Avett Brothers in Charlotte. It is guaranteed to be a great show. I'm very excited! Then Sunday is ma's birthday...I think she's turning 36 again this year. So we'll have ice cream and cake with the whole family to celebrate.
I'm ready for this mini-roadtrip (can a 2 hr drive be considered a road-trip?). I've had a bit of cabin fever after sitting at my desk all week long! Hope everyone has a great weekend!
