What the...?!

Sister and I went to the beach this weekend to visit the dad. We had a nice time. Spent all day Saturday on the beach (got a little burned), had low country boil (my favorite!) with neighbors, and went shaggin' at Ducks and Fat Harold's. We also discovered what we believe may be a new species of bug. Daddy thought it was a huge-mongous mosquito. I thought it was some sort of dragon-fly. Any entomologists out there that can make a ruling?



Thanks to the super-zoom on my awesome camera, I feel like I was really able to capture the sheer ugliness of this bug. Maybe insect photography is a new calling?
